Paula Sanderson is an emerging multi-media producer with experience in scripted and
non-scripted content, as well as current affairs and reality-based programming.
She is currently a researcher for Frantic Film’s CBC docuseries The Stats of
In 2016, Paula was proud to be accepted in the CBC Documentary Mentorship
Program and produced a radio documentary for CBC’s The Sunday Edition about
competitive butter tarts in Ontario. She continues to work for CBC on Cross Country
She has worked with many companies including DHX, Insight Productions,
Breakthrough Entertainment, The Canadian Film Centre, Babe Nation, Epic Meal Time,
The Canadian Screen Awards, and Blue Ant Media.
Paula completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Television Writing and Producing in
2015 at Humber College in Toronto ON. She previously graduated from the University of
King’s College in Halifax NS with a Bachelor’s of Journalism (Honours) in 2013.
Outside of the media industry, Paula is an outdoors enthusiast. She regularly volunteers
with camping based organizations, Girl Guides of Canada, Camp Oochigeas, Amici
Camping Charity and SeriousFun Camps.
She likes her butter tarts plain.
